We Are the HPOU

Welcome to HPDCadets.com and we congratulate you on your choice to join the best police department in the nation, The Houston Police Department.  This site is maintained and sponsored by the Houston Police Officers’ Union (HPOU), which is the sole and exclusive majority bargaining agent (MBA) for all Houston officers.

The links above will allow you to find out information regarding the Union and your benefits.  The HPOU is permitted to address each academy class for 2 hours during the last week of the academy.  After that session, each employee group will be provided 20 minutes to explain the benefits of each group just prior to your graduation.
